My class is learning about how sounds work, so we had to do a DLO about it and then type down all the information we learned about how sound works and then add a picture that shows what how sounds work in our ears and what makes the pitch louder in our ears.  We found out in our ears that we have an Inner ear and an Outer ear, so in the Inner ear we have Ear Drum, 3 bones, and Cochlea. The Outer ear has Auricle  which this part of the ear is vital for their developing hearing and speech, but they may also be more prone ( Prone means lying on their stomach or likely to do something) next is the Auditory canal a tube in the outer ear that  transmits the sound from the external environment to the ear drum, or tympanic membrane this is very important so you know How Sounds Work this is what I learned and created.

On Wednesday the Rm 7 was making paper cups  and a classic science project that demonstrates how sound waves work. We have to have 2 plastic paper cups and it can be any color and any cup, we also need strings to put  in the hole after you poke it with a pen when your done put the string in the hole and make a not that’s big so it  doesn’t fall out, when your done with the  other one go far away from each other and start talking, well the other partner listen’s and wait to see if it works.

This is working because the sound through vibrations along the taut string is converting the sound waves into vibrations in one cup, transferring them to the string, and then back to sound waves in the other cup. If you go close you won’t hear your partner because your  vibration is not straight and  it’s not gonna come through, to get your partner to hear you have to go far from each other and make your string straight, so the sound waves into vibrations in one cup transferring them to the string and then back to sound waves in the other cup.

This science project was  very interesting and I hope you try it out, this is what me and my partner did.\\

“Goku shouldn’t trust Bulma, because she is going to use him so she can get the Dragon Ball then leave him behind.

She is also bossy towards Goku. If Goku went with her to travel and find the missing Dragon balls, she will be a pest and keep on talking, along the way.

Also what happens if they are sleeping, and Bulma is figuring out how to get the Dragon Ball off Goku then plan to run away, as soon as possible? For a fact Goku is better off by his self  because when Bulma is around him, she always ask random questions and when she mentioned the word borrow, it really sound fishy because borrow is like when you use it also she is just using Goku as a shield, to protect her from any harm.

She is also obsessed with handsome boys and changing the plans that her and Goku agreed on, she also tried to get on Kinto’un but she fell down on the ground, because she is not pure of heart and she is so unkind for Goku he is kind and sweet. Also Goku had never experienced being lied to nor being used just for protection, especially how Goku never met a human before other than his Grandpa Gohan, sure if he had friends with Bulma but he’s just getting used just because Bulma wants a really cute boyfriend.

But Goku only went because he’s kindhearted, which all he will do is to fight enemies that are twice as enormous as him and it will also be sad and curious because Goku is different from the other people because he has a tail and no one have seen a kid with a tail before.

Last week, my teacher Mr Bell gave my class a task. Our task was to make an advertisement for Hoi Poi Capsules because of this book called Dragon Ball. We had to make it with our reading groups, My Reading Group was called Yellow Group and it had John, Thalia, Lyndon and I. An advertisement is when they promote their product(s) to get more buyer/customers, This is what my group made and we really enjoyed making it.

Yesterday my teacher Mr Bell read the book “Dragon Ball Book 1  The Adventure Begins”. We’ve just started reading it since yesterday After he read the book he gave us a challenge, the challenge was to list the difference between Bulma and Goku. Bulma is a 16 year old girl who’s been collecting dragon balls just to make a wish, Goku is a 12 year old boy who is dumb and has a tail and confused about the real world. He is kindhearted and strong meanwhile Bulma is arrogant, mean and bossy, this is a really funny and nice book to read, you should read this book.The most part that I enjoyed, is when Bulma and Goku was riding and she started screaming. I would like to listen to Dragon Ball again and experience what amazing adventure he and Bulma went on.

This week Rm 7 has been working on our Voyagers for the past few days. We are learning this because we wanted to  learn about who is the first navigator and when did they die, we were also discovering who was Captain Cook  and when was he born. I was very interested to learn about some navigators, I would like to learn more navigators and experience about there early life and how were they like if I were a navigator I would like to communicate with different type of navigators.

This morning Rm 7 and 8 went to Due Drop Centre to watch Tinā. It was spectacular and nice to meet other different schools. When we entered, my leg trembled with excitement.

Tinā was a movie that I never expected to be a movie of Humility, Alofa and Respect. I really like how Sophie’s teacher told them to not let your team mates down, and how the two students left reunited with their teacher again. I was crying at the beginning because it’s how Tinā’s daughter died in an earthquake,  and how Tinā knelt down and cried in despair. But wherever Tinā went she saw her daughter everywhere she went.  Tinā felt like her daughter was present with her, I felt bad because I know how it feels to lose a relative of yours  but you can still see them where ever  you go.

At the end of the movie it was heart warming, because it was how Sophie sang with pride and respect. That was the part  that I liked and how they sang Musu E as a team and sang it for Tinā. I really enjoyed many things from the movie Tinā.

We and my classmates have been doing many things. We are happy to learn more, experience and observe more of my classmates and I have been working on the Winter Road Trip activity one. I am looking forward to more activities today. I will try my best to learn and never give up on what I’m doing  I am really interested in this I hope I do more.

The Graveyard was silent that dawn, The only sound was whispers.

The Grass was horrific and long, Soft Foggy enfolded it felt like I’ve been watched like someone is running behind me, and all around the trees and trying to kidnap me.

Bella felt really scared but she only went there to see her dead Father,  that took care of her and treated her nicely ever since her mum died, until she saw a path she wondered and asked herself.

“What does this path lead to, it is very odd around here I’ve never seen it before?”
